Thank you for visiting the 23rd Ward website. This website has been created for you to ensure quick results by providing updates and information in the community. The 23rd ward is a community of wonderful people and great neighborhoods. Your priorities have always driven my work and I hope this website is helpful to you, your family and the entire ward.
For the past 18 years it has been my honor to represent our corner of Chicago as your Alderman and to help keep our neighborhoods great places to live and raise a family. I've always believed that I can only do my job well by listening carefully to what our residents need and fighting for better City Services.
In addition to the website, I encourage you to stop by the office or call us at (773) 582-4444. My agenda has always been to be of assistance to you and your family. Along with calling or visiting us, this website also provides the option to enter a city service request electronically into the contact form on this page. Provide as many details as possible. - We have recently opened an additional service office at:
- The Southwest Senior Center, located at 6117 S. Kedzie Avenue.
- The office hours are: Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.
- The 23rd Ward main office is located at 6247 S. Archer Avenue.

- Our main office hours are: Monday through Thursday, from 8:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M;
- Fridays, from 8:30 A.M. to 3:00 P.M; Saturdays, from 8:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.
- I sent out a newsletter to the newly re-mapped 23rd ward. Below is the attached copy of the newsletter. Residents are more than welcome to download the form on the 2nd page of the Newsletter and send in the form, so that we may better assist you.

City Vehicle Stickers
- To Launch the 2013 City Vehicle Sticker Season. The 23rd Ward will be hosting our annual City Vehicle Sticker event, for your convenience.
- Where: HomeRun Inn, 6221 S. Archer
- When: Tuesday, June 4, 2013
- Time: 12:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M.
- Vehicle Registration (which includes the V.I.N. Number and License Plate Number).V.I.N. Number will be required.
- Driver's License
- Pre-printed renewal form(s) (that are annually mailed to you).
- According to the City Clerk's website, "...a pickup truck or van weighing under 8,000 pounds, with no outstanding parking violations, and is displaying a valid and current City Vehicle Sticker…" may obtain a Pickup Truck Sticker, to park on residential streets in the ward.
- This sticker is available free at the 23rd Ward office.
- Please provide your vehicle information and city sticker number to receive the sticker.
